Write down who, where, and when
A pickup plan needs three facts: the child, the adult collecting them, and the correct place and time. An early finish can change the last two without looking like a new event in the school newsletter. Anna helps organise information from connected email and calendars, but the school and the adults involved remain the source of truth for the handover. Check the notice and agree the arrangement directly. Do not assume that a calendar event means a teacher has been told about a different collector.
Make a change explicit
If one parent cannot make pickup, decide who will replace them and whether the school needs notice. Anna can help prepare a message, and supported messages require your approval before sending. Review the recipient and the actual wording. A draft is not confirmation that another adult has accepted the job. Keep the arrangement visible to both adults so an older plan does not stay in somebody’s head after the calendar has changed.
Ask for the reminder you need
A pickup time is an event. A reminder to leave home is a separate request. Ask Anna for a timed reminder if you want one, and allow for the travel time yourself. Do not rely on Anna for emergency coordination or assume that an automatic alert will arrive for every event. If the arrangement is urgent, contact the school or collecting adult directly through your normal channel.

Use school emails into calendar events for dates hidden in newsletters, school emails and forms for the paperwork around them, and the shared family calendar for the wider week. A morning brief can put today’s pickup beside appointments and tasks, so it is easier to spot a practical conflict before the day gets busy.
